The Tile Club

The Tile Club – Blue & Cream’s Hidden Gem

The Tile Club gets its inspiration from a club of late 19th-century New York-based painters, sculptors, illustrators, and architects – including Winslow Homer, Stanford White, and William Merritt Chase – who gathered in the city’s downtown private salons to exchange ideas and paint on ceramic tiles (like an antique Instagram).. They also took frequent excursions to the Hamptons, where they created some of America’s great works of plein air painting in the Impressionist style. In similar fashion, The Tile Club is driven by the artistic desire to portray the indescribable beauty of the world in a tactile, material form. Made with only the finest cashmere, The Tile Club’s line of tailored luxury casualwear features throw-on-and-go sets in a broad palette of seasonal colors without the “sweats” mentality. Chic, cozy, and refined, The Tile Club takes you seamlessly from brunch to the plane to the movies without skipping a beat.
